I need a new pant suit. I remember I posted a while ago and there were quite a few of you that wear a size 0. My problem is a lot of the stores I like for work tops have pants that don't fit me on the bottom...stores like Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, etc. And my legs are long so petite is no good! Can anyone recommend some stores or brands to try? I feel like whenever I need a suit I spend HOURS trying stuff on and always end up with something that doesn't fit well

im not size 0 but find a good tailor. a few minor adjustments can make pants fit you perfectly.

I just have to get everything tailored, the zero's are always too big. The closest thing to 'fitting' off the rack was at Express, their '0 petite' dress pants, but it was still a little loose and I could only wear flats or else they were too short (I'm 5' 5')

in reality, this is usually our best bet.
it stinks being super thin.

I do get a lot of my pants taken in at the waist but I guess the pants I find for everyday are easier to find close to my size than suit pants...usually they fit everywhere but my waist..suit pants I'm SWIMMING in

thanks! Have you tried Banana Republic's size 00? I wonder how that compares to their 0 which is too big. I usually buy skirt suits, too. The last one I have is from Ann Taylor and it's a little big. I would really like a pant suit tho!

You can also try the Junior Dept. in major department stores, it is hit or miss but sometimes I do better there for dresses etc.

definitely try sisley and united colors of benetton! i get all my suits from there! and most of the time, their pants are super long!

Is Benetton expensive? I haven't shopped there since I was in middle school and everyone had their sweaters I know there's a Benetton at Roosevelt Field, but where is there a Sisley?

i always get my suits on sale. i think my suits have ranged from 150-180 bucks! they usually have two big sales every year----one that starts just before christmas, and the other one starts at the beginning of june. but they do have pieces that go on sale throughout the year. you should definitely check it out--they have some beautiful suits!
the only sisley in new york is in the city.

i buy a lot of clothes from La Redoute - their size 2's usually fit- and then my mom usually only has to take them in a bit.
they are an online catalog and they are great. i get all my pant suits from them. good luck.

yeah they run small for some reason.
it is weird.

I hate buying clothes, you have to try everything on now a days!
