YUP! slowcookers/crockpots are AWESOME!!
you put stuff in there and turn it on in the morning, and when you get home frmo work your house smells great, and dinner is done! i got a great cookbook called 'Fix it and Forget it'- theres all sorts of crockpot recipes in there
theres also one we love for mexican chicken chili that my friend gave me... i'll try to post it tonight when i get home
i also do pot roast... just put a 3 lb pot roast in, cut up a couple potatoes and carrots, then put in one can of cream of mushroom soup and one envelope of lipton dry onion soup mix.. add just a little bit of water... let it cook all day on low... soo good!

I recommend going to allrecipes.com
That site has everything! Read the reviews...most recipes I think, need a little tweaking...but the reviews are very helpful for that.

My best advice...have fun and experiment with things. I find the best recipes are the things you just 'throw together'.

Appetizer.. sweet&sour meatballs..

A bag of frozen mini meatballs, jar of grape jelly, jar of tomato sauce.

Pour all in and cook all day on low heat.. sounds weird and gross but SOOO friggen TASTY!

I like to cook roast in there. The meat will be so tender as soon as you touch it with a fork or knife the meat will just fall off.
Mouth is watering now

Here's an easy one:

Take a pork tenderloin (about 1-1.5) lbs, pour two cans of cream of celery soup over it and cook on low for 8 hrs. DH LOVES this one, the meat comes out so tender, it just shreds when you eat it.

You can also throw in some potatoes with it, yum!
