...I just have to vent. Last night I was getting a snack in the kitchen. With cell phone in one hand, Brita container in the other, I went to pour my drink, coinciding with the cell phone slipping and falling into the CrockPot that had been soaking in the sink after my mother had made a big thing of sauce (with sausage and meatballs). So you can imagine what the water looked like.
Well long story short...my cell phone is no longer working. So now I have to go buy a new one. Verizon told me that I can't upgrade yet because it's too early. Ugh...

I am sorry that happened.. I def. can relate I do everything to my cell phones so I always have to buy a new one

I am sorry to hear that! Never fun to lose or kill a phone!
FH dropped his cell off the boat a few months back and ended up ordering a cell off of ebay. He wasn't eligible for the upgrade for another 2 months so he used the ebay phone for those 2 months and then just upgraded when he was able to. He didn't want to have to pay full price for a phone since he only had to wait 2 months for the upgrade.

but do you want to upgrade the phone or just get another one? They shouldnt give you a hard time for replacing your phone. Did you have insurance on it?

I'm sorry, but that's only a little funny. Even funnier....my FH's mom washed his shorts with his cell phone in them recently. He let the phone dry out and it worked. Maybe you should try that first.
