So as most of you know, i have been out on disability. Well i ahve been waiting for my check to come.....i called disablility today and they told me i have to have the Doc fill out the form they sent me. I never got a form!!!! I also asked a few people who know disability and even work for them an they told me i dotn have to fill something out every month...guess they gave me the wrong info they said it was sent AUG 28th, well i didnt get it! so now i have to have the Doc write them a note tomorrow stating i am still disabled so they can release my check! I have NO MONEYYYYYYYYYYY NOW
I have so much going on in the next 2 months....my CC bills r due in the next week, dr bills, my dental work, my BFFs shower, her wedding so much and i am broke!! i am starting to freak out :( i should just tell work i am fine and go back!!! At leat ill have an income! i am so up set

Thats where my dad worked....kew gardens!! i wonder if they knew eachother he was there like 20 years or so....my dad was hit by a driver while on the job...he was on parking lot duty one day and went to give the girl a ticket for being double parked on queens blvd...he gave her 2 warnings went back to write the ticket and she put the car in reverse and knocked him down! he was hurt and took early retiremnt cause he couldnt return to work.....hes been retired like 4 years now
wow..your poor dad!!! FM me your dads name and ill ask my dad.
My dad was restraining a prisoner and ended up tearing the ligaments in his wrist. my dads been retired probably close to 10 years

I deal with NYS disability all the time at work. Normally all you have to do is get a letter from your Dr. stating what is wrong and how long you will be out. Usually they will also contact your job for wage information (this is what I deal with) and how long you have been there and position you have. Is it possibly that your Dr. wrote something in the orders that would indicate you would be back to work by now?

nope...dr has said from day 1 we dont know when i will be back...i have already gotten 1 check i just assumed they would send it every month. I called today and talked to the claims examiner and she said i was supposed to have a medical form filled out. I see the Dr tomorrow so i will have him write them a note. Thanks for the help ladies

i dealt with zurich a couple of years ago and i had to have my doc fill out my paper every month to give an estimate of when i would be able to work again...i broke my leg is feb and didnt recieve a disability check until april...so good luck and hang in there...i know it *****..

Oh god that *****....FH is going through the same problem...he had hernia surgery and his disability doesn't want to pay!! He has to go to court now...they s*ck!!!!!!!!
