I'm looking for a new job (well, now its on hold until after the wedding.) Anyway, I interviewed at one place that I really, really liked. I got a really good vibe from them. They told me that I was great and they definately wanted to see me again. I thought I had this one in the bag.
I just found out that I didn't get it.
The headhunter told me that they said I wasn't enthusiastic enough. I thought I was perky, attentive, the whole nine yards. Any suggestions on how to be really enthusastic for future interviews?

Re: NWR: So Bummed
an idea is to do a mock interview with two friends. have one be the interviewer and the other one watch. sounds dorky, i know. but they may be able to tell u things you don't see.
BUT, i have been on TONS of interviews and you really NEVER know how it went until you find out if you are gonna get an offer or not. if you want to know how to improve, try above. but honestly, you just have to be yourself. if you thought you were perky, happy, etc and they didn't, then geez, how perky would you have to be every day if you got the job?
i know how it feels to think you just have that job in the bag and then find out you were second in line or you were too enthusiastic or not enthusiastic enough, etc. just be yourself and sell yourself. someone will definitely rightly see your talents and personality and offer you the job.
good luck.

I'm so sorry you didn't get the job..
I think everything happens for a reason and a wonderful job that will be even better then this one is coming.
And in regards to being more enthusiastic , I say just be yourself and if you are a right fit they will love you!
