NWR - So Happy

I am sooo excitied that I figured I would let it all out on here! lol FH has been trying to get into the NYPD academy for probably about a year now. But with budget cuts and such the city was having very small classes with only like 250 people. Needless to say he was not one of the 250 which was a huge stresser for him. Because he wanted to be in the academy and be finished before we got married. Well today he got a letter saying that he needs to go Jan 8th to take the obstacle course again!!!! (He was already processed before and almost in the door when they canceled the class.) I am soooo excited for him and me hahahah He might not be getting in for this January class but hopefully July. Regardless this is a step in the right direction. This was honestly the best Christmas gift ever

omg that is sooooo great!! Congrats to both of you! I can completely relate to when things don't happen the way you always thought they would...FH hit a few bumps in the road a few years ago and it was really stressful, not only for him, but for me too, so I know what you're saying. Things happen for a reason tho and I'm glad to hear things are working out for you guys!

Thank you girls! It was really exciting when he got the letter. I was soooo happy for him. Because he was processing for last January when they decided to cancel the class and then put in a really small one which he did not make. So he has been bummed about it and basically just waiting and it was a huge stressor for him/me. Because even though he works and makes decent money he felt that he really wanted to be in his career first. But look we only got engaged less than two months ago and now he got the letter so like you girls say everything happens for a reason!!!
