NWR: SO mad and upset. . . vent (so long)

I'm like shaking I'm so mad. I'm on the verge of crying. I'm so freaking emotional, damn PMS lol.

Its just like - I didn't go 'cheap' on her present. She mentioned to FMIL that she spent $75 on my bday. Like - wow, i didn't realize we were keeping tabs.

I just don't get how people are so superficial.

not only is it rude, i cant believe she said that to FMIL

i think she's right though; let it roll off, now you know what kind of person she is

That's the only time I cry too. When someone is mean and there is a misunderstanding that is difficult to clear up. Let it out, it's OK! But i will say I don't think this girl is worth you getting so upset over. How does the rest of the family feel about her?

Everyone chalks it up to immaturity. . .she's young, and while I'm not saying ALL GIRLS still in college can be like that- some certainly can.

FMIL keeps saying once she grows up it will be fine Also - I wanted to be like - I'm paying for a friggin wedding, I'm on a budget, dammit! They are having a super small wedding with like 50 people, so its a little different for them. . . .

Just needed reassurance that normal people think she is out of her mind too. I can't even tell FH because he will flip out and get in a fight with FBIL over it

I plan on looking for it still - its been hard, my mom was in the hospital last week, and it was just NOT high on my priority list to search through bags looking for a receipt.

I just don't get why it matters. I mean, I feel bad she only got half of what I paid for it, but why make such a big deal of it?
