We use the white/clear lights. Just like that look better.
I think I'm traumatized from when I was a little girl and my dad would use those HUGE colored bulbs!!!!
I hated them too. I used to get so mad having them...

Yep, very romantic. There's nothing better than putting up the tree with Christmas carols in the backgroud and then having some wine or hot chocolate. All you have to add is snow falling down and a nice fire place inside. To me thats the perfect setting. . .

Re: NWR- So On Your Christmas Tree
white. my mom throws up some green (to accent the tree, she's so cute) and i think that looks nice, but we don't have any green. =0P i also like the look of white and blue, which could be kinda neat since fh is jewish (non practicing, just major holidays).

Re: NWR- So On Your Christmas Tree
MUST have the WHITE lights.... looks wintery to me! I never liked colored lights on the tree... outside their fine, but on the tree, not for me! oh and dont' even get me started on blinking lights... even worse is when they blink at different times... DRIVES ME NUTS!

Re: NWR- So On Your Christmas Tree
colored lights always on the tree - outside we do white one everything except the bushes (solid green)
this year we got some of those retro big bulb lights to put around the edge of the house

Re: NWR- So On Your Christmas Tree
I voted for color since the little wooden 'lights' on my tiny wooden tree are colored. Buying a real tree is just too much work for us especially since we're in NY for the entire week of Christmas.
