is it wrong to ask for wedding related items? I wouldnt mind getting my tiara and accessories as presents or is it tacky to ask for that?

I wanted a camcorder. So on Black Friday they had such good deals and since I had FH Credit Card I bought one .

my family automatically assumed id want money to put towards my wedding they were right!

We asked for stuff off our registry. I dont think its wrong -- we have a lot on the registry and we know we wont get it all at the shower.
