FH and I are taking my niece and nephew (our fg and rb) to go see How the Grinch Stole Christmas on Broadway. I am probably way more excited than the kids, but they are pretty pumped too! So happy the stupid strike is over. AND, I got the tix for $33 each through tdf. I can't wait! We're going on Wed. Dec 12. My sil is letting me take the kids out late on a school night. I know they are going to love that!

TDF is the theater development fund. They run the tkts booth where you get discounted tickets the day of the show. You can become a member for like $30/year and then buy those tickets in advance instead of just the day of. They have a lot of off broadway show tickets all the time, but also some broadway shows for very low prices and you can order up to 9 tix at a time. It's awesome for me b/c I am obsessed with broadway and those tix can be over $100 each.

Thanks so much for the info. I love Broadway shows but I havent been too one in year cause the good tickets are so expensive. Im gonna check out the site now.

Also, another great site is seasonofsavings.com They offer discount tix throughout the year, but just not around the holiday time b/c it is so busy with all the tourists and stuff. They start up again on Jan. 6th and have no membership fee. Also, when you order tickets through telecharge, you can sign up for their mailing list. I get tons of emails all the time with offers for discounted tickets to a bunch of shows. Wow, I really am obsessed!![]()
