nwr: sorry I've been gone

Hey girls
so sorry I have been totally *** for the past 3-4 days. I have had an extremely tough week and it's not getting any better.

My sweet lovable pup (was going to be 9 in 10 days) started having problems breathing on tuesday and died on wednesday morning...we learned he had a tumor on his heart that was causing bleeding and he was in pain. He was the love of my life...truely. He was such a good dog and really touched my heart in ways that words cannot describe. My family is in shock and suffering as we re-write our lives without him in them. It has been extremely emotional and I have been a wreck as I was not there (he was in England). I am strongly considering going home for a week or two to just mourn with my family. As silly as it may seem to some, he wasn't a dog he was just like a person and we loved him like one. My heart is beyond broken. since his death I have fits of tears and panick attacks and have pretty much stopped eating.

I miss you girls and will return as soon as I can handle thinking about my wedding :(

Oh my gosh!!

I am so sorry for your loss. Some people don't realize that animals are more a part of the family than some relatives!!! I lost my cat 2 years ago and I still find myself getting upset when I think of her. I'm sorry that you couldn't be there to say goodbye but if he was in that much pain it's better he doesn't suffer.

i know how it feels to lose a pet that was more like family than just an animal ...It honestly wasnt easy but it got better with time.

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss....the loss of a pet is often just as hard as when a person dies...I can totally sympathize with you....pets become such a part of the family, they are almost like people...their loss is just as hard....my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time....

I am Sorry for your loss, I have two dogs of my own and they are my life. So I understand what you are going through.
