Just wondering if any of you ladies are speech pathologist. I will be graduating in Dec. with my BA in speech pathology..and was wondering what are my options with just a BA. I know its not much unless you have a MA, but just wondering. Thanks

Re: NWR- Speech Pathologist
Hi date twin! Geeeez, are you my life twin too?
Im graduating in May with my Masters in Speech Pathology -- to be perfectly honest, there's not much you can do without it.
In order to be certified by ASHA and to get your license (in NY and most states) you MUST have your masters! we're in a tough field! soooo you have the BA/BS whichever, and next step.... MA/MS, then you take the praxis, then you do your CFY, THEN you get your license! it's a tough road, but well worth it!
let me know if you need advice on anything!

If you get teaching credits you can be a tshh - the city accepts them and if your bilingual it would work. However - it is better to get your masters!
