anyone live in eastern nassau who would like to meet up and go roller blading on a few times this summer? i was planning to try and get out of work a little early a few days and get to eisenhower park...or even after 5...anyone want to meet up??

awwww...i have trouble with that too, even after years of praticing!! i just roll onto the grass, it helps you stop and you can walk on it.
...or i just fall flat on my bum!! that a sure stopper!

I am too afraid that I'd be in a dangerous situation and not be able to stop..plus, I HATE skinning my knees :(

I used to live in East meadow and would go rollerblading in Eisenhower all the time. Moved out to Suffolk recently...but its a great place to go.

sorry I don't roller blade, me and coordination are not friends. However, I'm not far from mineola and am considering taking up jogging!

I live out east in Shirley....lol quite far from mineola but my friedns and I are goign to go after work in Seaford and you are more then welcome to come whenever. I'll let you know when we go if you are interested. I am goign to try to go this morning in Holtsville. I love rollerblading!
