Is it possible that splenda could make you spend A LOT of quality time in the bathroom if some one was to bake with it?

possibly...the problem with splenda and all those artificial type things is that your body doesnt know how to break it down. For generations and generations our ancestors didnt use these things so its foreign to our bodies, youre actually better off with regular sugar bc your body knows how to break that down. Many studies show that splenda is not good for you.

I've baked with it before and not had that problem. But I guess you never know how one's body will react to something.

I went to FMIL for FG-maMIL bday and a cake was made with Splend and so was the ice cream. I never had that, but did last night and UGH now.
I think your right, I am sticking with regular sugar in the raw

Re: NWR - splenda?
It does have that effect on some people.
Its actually sugar with an added atom so that your body cant break it down b/c it doesnt know what the hell it is.
Our very own Colleen told me that.

Re: NWR - splenda?
I'm not sure about with baking. But I once bought Crystal light candies with splenda in it. I once had 5 in one sitting, and I had major stomach pains.
