NWR :Stolen topic Hauntings

Who here has experienced hauntings or seen ghosts?

That would Def be me...

actually I have a story from yesterday...not really a HAUNTING but well..

there's this HUGE boat at my parents marina called the Sea Genie II. basically it was abandoned and Ive always wanted to go it but we never could. It's sitting there in the water rotting.

yesterday I grabbed Fh and was like that's it, I;m going on it. and we grabbed a flashlight bc it was starting to get dark and climbed aboard.

As soon as we stepped on board, Fh was like, ames I wanna get off this boat. It creaked eerily and like i said it's HUGE..and rotting and empty.

3 bedrooms, 3 baths, a real kitchen, a livingroom, 2 decks..HUGE. sections of floors missing and filling w water.

well, turns out, someone fell off the boat and DROWNED. Look it up online! it was in Hyannis I think at the time.

I'm going back on next sun and I'll take pics. CREEPY.

OMG!!! that's a waste though, just because someone drowned, the owner should have sold it if it held bad memories... can't wait to see pics!!!

i think they did and then this couple had it but couldn't deal w the upkeep. i mean its HUGE..It's a houseboat.

I have friends that used to rent the apartment atthe top of the normaldie inn in Bohemia... look it up - its on the top 10 haunted places on LI.... it used to be a speak easy back in teh day, adn a girl was killed in there... that room was my friends bedroom... umm yeah... i stayed there a few times and witnessed some REALLLLY freaky things,... so after that - I believe... lol

ETA - Long Island - Bohemia - Haunted by a young female named Maria who was strangled to death in the back bedroom when the inn was a speakeasy over 60 years ago. Bare footprints appear on the carpeting even in wintertime, shadowy figures in the kitchen, and unidentified bones appear in the basement. The inn has been investigated many times by mediums and psychics and is currently under investigation by Candice Isralow of Mt. Sinai. Current owner has been there for over 20 years. normandie inn...

I have a kind of story, a friend of mine tried a spell to like talk to spirits, open a portal or something and I have to admit afterwards her room was ALWAYS freezing, she claimed stuff would get knocked off her shelves once in a while.

i ve had a couple of expereinces the one that has stuck with me the most was when i wa slittle like 9 or 10 i remember someone pulling my hair in my sleep and when i jumped up no one was in the room

Cool stories. Would LOVE to go to Pilgrim state. I had experiences when I was a kid in my parents house, and I also have 'dreamed' about most of my dead relatives when they died. When I got engaged my Godfather/Uncle and I went for a walk and he told me that he was so proud of me and wished he could be at the wedding!
Before my brother died, my FI, my son and I were in Kings Dominion, and all I did was talk about him, and I saw him everywhere, which I thought was someone who looked like him. Then one morning (the one he passed away) I woke up, FI was in the shower, I was still in bed and I felt someone next to me, but I was too afraid to look. Then something took the bed sheets and pulled them like they were saying 'look!'.
I still didn't look. Then on the wall was a flame, (got the pic somewhere) my FI and I thought it was so cool looking. Two days later we found out my brother had passed away. But it was cool to think it was him trying to contact me.
So many stories to tell, not enough time.
