NWR: Stowe, VT

Has anyone been to Stowe? FH and I are considering going the day after Thanksgiving for 2 nights and need hotel recommendations.

No, sorry, FH and I have only been to Mt. Snow and Killington. I hear it's nice in Stowe though.

went for New Yrs last yr. had an AWESOME time!!!
we stayed at Arbor Inn B&B. the owners are a polish couple that make breakfast fresh in the morning and serve to ur table. each time they had 2 choices, and all was really really yummy.
the place itself is very clean and very very adorable.
also whats good is that its in the middle: half way to the sloaps and half way to all the bars and restaurants.

we ate at some great places, my fav being Rusty Nail (best burger of my entire life!).

FM me for more gushing over Stowe on my part

LOVE Stowe!

Definitely try the Trapp Family Lodge.
And the Green Mountain Inn.

If you have a furry canine friend, try staying at The Two Dog Lodge. So clean...cleaner than some of the other well known lodges. You wouldn't suspect any animals were even on premises. They have a great set-up with doggy day care for like $20 per day...obstacle courses, dog treats on pillows, etc. great place.

When you go... try eating at Pie in the Sky. Great brick oven pizza...better than most NY places. Also, their hot wings...just great.

The Partridge Inn...
Shed Restaurant & Brewery.

Thank for the suggestions. I had my heart set on Green Mountain Inn...and it was sold out. But I notice they have rooms available again...so will look into it. Thanks for the food ideas, too!!!
