We have a stray cat that has been hanging around the house. Does anyone know of any organizations that will take the cat? The cat is very friendly so I know it must have had a home at some point. It started coming by a few months ago and then disappeared for some months. It's been back for about a week now, and I'd like to get it placed somewhere.
Any help would be appreciated!

call north shore animal league. maybe they can help or at least give you another organization to call. hope you find a home for her...i would take her but my cat hates other animals....shes very spoiled haha. good luck!

my cat hates other cats too. Fh is allergic to cats. He doesnt do too bad with the cat we have but my parents have two cats and he dies when hes there

Its possible the cat already belongs so someone, i would try putting a collar on it with a little note asking the owner to call you. If noone calls then try placing an adoption ad on craigslist. Unfortunately summer is a bad time of year to get cats into good rescues because of all the kittens.
