NWR - Stressed!!

NWR - Stressed!!

I am taking a huge certification exam next week to become board certified in behavior analysis! I work with children with autism and this will only give me more opportunities in the future, but the pass rate i only 65% (if that high). They give the test 4 times a year. They are changing the criterion as of Jan 1st, so if I don't pass I need to take another class and there will be a ton more material on the exam. Since summer school ended on Monday I have spent every waking minute in the library. On top of that I need to set up my new classroom since I got a job at a different school and just don't have time to put together the welcome letter or even go in to see what the room needs!!! Pulling out my hair!

Oh yeah - and I need to order the invitations for the wedding before the school year begins because I know with an hour and 15 minute commute I will not be a happy camper the beginning of September until I get used to it!

Ahhh!!! Okay!!! Hope everyone else is enjoying the rest of their summer and did not get hit too bad with the rain the other day!

Wish I could get to the beach!

Good luck on the exam! Just worry about one thing at a time and it'll all work itself out.

GOOD LUCK!!! So exciting! I was thinking about going for this certification, but I need a break from anything related to college/grad courses!

And good luck with your new class! I just got hired for first grade and I feel like I won't have time to get everything in order before September. My commute will also be long- an hour and 30 mins each way! But luckily I won't have to drive (LIRR/subways for me).

Well your schedule looks very busy and yes quite stressful also. All I can say is that you much make proper time management for doing all work. Your part time jobs should not mess with your studies.
Best Luck!!!

Thank you! It took me 4 years to get here! I think I took a year off between my masters and the course work - Crazy! Congrats on your job too! So exciting :)

Good luck! It will definitely work out! I just took my boards the end of July for physical therapy and like yours it's offered 4x/year. Try to relax as best you can and know that we are all routing for you! Once its over have a nice big drink and try not to think about the questions and how it went

Reminds me of the 4 teaching exams, including the students with disabilities one. Towards the end of the test, I stopped reading the passages because they were soooo long. Lolll You'll do great! I have a welcome letter if you need it.

Thanks! I don't remember being stressed for the teaching exams like I am for this one! Yikes! Can I see your welcome letter? Do you mind? It would be such a huge help!
