NWR: Student webpages?

Hi,
I am looking for a free, safe website where students can create their own webpages.

Have you seen anything like this?

Thanks

angelfire used to, but I haven;t used it in quite a while.....but with free sites, you get ads on them

can you post on your district's server - link off of your own web page? I'd ask your school webmaster what they can do...

eta....kids can make their sites in ms publisher, or even in word......

tripod. You will have ads on your website or pop ups but its free from what i remember. I use tripod as my server but I upgraded to a paid account in order to have my own addi and extra space.

I use a host called totalchoicehosting.com. It's only $4/month for a ton of space. Maybe you could create an account and then let each student have his/her own subdomain. It's not free, but at least you won't have all those annoying ads.
