I always wanted to be like martha stewart growing up. Have dinner on the table by 6, clean, cook, be a stay at home mom. I can't wait. Until today. I have been in the yard for 4 days trying to get these ugly bushes out of the ground. Good gracious how deep can these things go. I am in Georgia and they don't have dirt like they did when I lived in florida. No, it's stinking clay. Which I just trampled in on the new Carpet. Sorry just need to vent.

Sorry to hear it took you so long! But don't you feel better that it's finished?

I still have about 20 more. The owner before us had it in better homes and gardens years ago. Then he let it go to hell. So now we are kind of gutting the yard and starting from scratch

Hire a landscaper! Seriously... they aren't as expensive as people think. I get them to do the grunt work - pulling up shrubs, etc... That way I have energy to decorate!
