So, I just answered the phone at work, and the guy asks for JA or his brother RA, I told him JA is out until tuesday and RA just stepped out to deliver an item.

- sorry, its only the two of them, I can take a message

- blah blah blah blah blah (name, co, phone #, item he's looking for)... (really fast)..... did you get all that?
- I'm just finishing writing it all right now
- ok
so I'll have RA give you a call back as soon as he gets in
why nobody can help me right now? I kinda need this now.
- I'm sorry, he's out on a delivery, I'll have him call you the second he gets in
so there's nobody that can help me right now?

I used to throw things across the office, till I 'accidentally' hit a co-worker (the only one I talk to on friendly terms) in the lower back... mind you, it was a Styrofoam ball, well he freaked out on me about throwing things, so I've stopped...
but I was ready to just hang up on the guy!

I ordered my mom a basket for Mother's day. I get a call at 8am that morning and the delivery guy goes

- Hi, this is the delivery guy, I'm down stairs
- Hi, ok.. I'm not there.. so just go and bring the delivery.
- You want me to walk to the building?
- Yes.
- Do you want me to ring the doorbell?
- Um.. YES!
- And do you want me to go upstairs?
- Yep.. Deliver the delivery.
- Ok, so you want me to walk to the building, ring the bell and go upstairs, right?
- YES THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I NEED YOU TO DO!!!!!!!
- Hmm..Ok Bye!

convo with my dog faced coworker yesterday

Me: can you please print out an emergency contact list for our clients who are going on this weekend's trip?

Her: That was my idea a long time ago but since Im not going on the trip I didnt make one.

Me: OK you could've told a coworker when you thought of it so someone else wouldve done it. now you're the only one with access to that info.

Her: its not my job to tell people what to do.

Me: (not going to feed into this) SO will you be able to do it?

her: We'll see

Me: (incredulous) We'll see?!?!

Her: Yep

This morning in my class --

Student -- Can I have my book to read?
Worker -- You need to do your work first.
Student -- I always have my book.
Worker (to me) -- Can he have his book?
Me -- No. He needs to do his work first.
Student -- I always have my book.

So the worker gave him his book.

Why bother asking me???? And the kid did no work...
