NWR: Stupid Woman Question (pap smears and brazilians, with poll)

Which is the most painful/uncomfortable for you? Honestly, I don't know which one i'd choose....I have both scheduled for next week!

Never had a brazlian..and probably never will...but pap smears are just not pleasant at all!

i dont either of them are horrible - they are both over in seconds. . . can i go with childbirth even tho i havent experienced it?

PAP SMEARS dont really hurt me. I mean not the most comfortable thing i guess but wouldnt say painful.

pap smears dont hurt at all, just uncomfortable.

i've never gotten a brazillian and never will

The worst pain I've had in the gyno office is when I have HPV treatments. It involves the use of a weak acid. Fun.

Brazilians are horrendous...especially where the hair is most concentrated. (It also happens to be the most sensitive part because it's been protected for years). Take 3 Advil about 30 minutes before your appointment. And remember to pull your skin tight with your hands. She'll show you how.

For some reason i'm okay with Brazilians, even though it's a longer process. I hate papsmears b/c i just can fathom something going up in me.. ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwe! I totally hate it...and I think it hurts me more, even though it lasts for a shorter amount of time.

I have never had a brazilian but I have had an endocervical currettage which is where they 'scrape' cells from your cervix to make sure there is no traces of cancer......not fun.....that hurts....since I have not experienced childbirth yet...
