NWR Suggestions on a great flat iron that is not that pricey
Hey Ladies,
Ok heres the deal I have a CHI for about 4 years. However, it's not heating up as good. I'm looking for a flat iron not as pricey, that works well. Is there such a thing?

your CHI iron has a lifetime warranty on it..call the company and get the shipping addess..you will get a new one
i had the same one for 5 years and used it on clients about 6 times a day for 3 1/2 years and mine just crapped out
i got the address..paid $10 for shipping and i had a brand new one a week later

Hot Tools are usually pretty good and not too pricey, I also have a Rusk flat iron but I believe my mom paid a nice amount for it.

its a little pricey...BUT its the greatest tool i've used to straighten my hair.
The Maxi-Glide---its just amazing. For about $80---but it straightens and steams your hair in seconds!

Hot tools Professional are pretty good, I used it all the time before I got my Chi, but after that..I never looked back. The Chi really is in a league of its own.. I would get a 20% off coupon for Bed Bath and Beyond and buy it from there if you can swing it

HTH
I have the hot tools ceramic too. I have naturally straight hair though, so I don't need a heavy duty straightener (I let my hair air dry and smooth out the kinks). The ceramic one is WAY better for your hair than the old metal ones, and you can get them on sale for pretty cheap at ULTA. They have specials/sales on them pretty often.
I've only used hot tools (the metal and the ceramic) but stay away from the metal, it's so bad for your hair!
