i dont even know if im describing this correctly, but im looking for dresses that have halter tops but where the straps are wide-set...like way over by your shoulders.
i was watching sex and the city and saw charlotte wearing one and it looked SOOOO cute.
if anyone has any ideas where i can find these, or has any PICS so that i can have a reference point to take to a store...let me know!!
PS - they don't have to be fancy...it's strictly because i want to have a cute outfit for the summer. lol

Have you looked at bloomingdales or nordstroms. If so there is a great website called bluefly.com. They have nice stuff. Can be pricey though.

The wide set straps are 1950's style halters. I'd google that....

well that dress is a vintage dress, that was a popular style back in the days, unfortunately that particular one is sold out or i wouldve bought it in a heartbeat , thats the style i was looking for too but ive had no luck. With vintage dress sites you always have to check in when they update their sites bc otherwise they sell the dress right away.
