haha I could've written this post! I work in an office part time and also need a second part time job. I've been applying at restaurants and all since I have the experience but haven't heard anything :(

Maybe try applying for something on the Nautical Mile or places in by the water like in Long Beach that have big summer crowds and are probably searching for more staff.

I use to work at Prime in Huntington. I worked the outside section of the restaurant which was called dockside. It's seasonal so it's only open from may-oct but it was great money and a lot of fun!you should def check it out...the manager's name is Todd. hth
