So I am have surgery on 9/1. It is for my bunions (not corns) on BOTH of my feet! (this is heriditary in my family). I have been wearing flip flops for 2 1/2 months and can not wait to get this done and over with. I have to get them both done now b/c I do not have enough recovery time (takes up to 6 months to fully recover) to split it up. I will be off for 4-6 weeks, at least that will give me more time to get to 1000 post ) I am happy I will be able to put a shoe on by October, but man I am missing some good stuff in between! Okay my vent is over, just wanted to share since I keep mentioning it in some post.

ugh, that sounds so painful! I have a bunion on my right instep but it doesnt hurt so I wont fix it. lol
Good luck and think about all the cute shoes you can wear again by next summer!

Yeah I wish they did not hurt!!! I would so not fix them! I LOVE sandles and could not wear any this summer, it drove me crazy...LOL Thanks fo rthe well wishes. i will dream of the shoes for the summer of 2012 (and my HM shoes!!!)
