NWR: Sweet 16

I haven't been to a Sweet 16 since I'm 16 (11 yrs ago) & I have a few questions...lol

We got invited to FH's 3rd cousins sweet 16. He hasn't seen her in 10 years. What is an appropriate gift to give. It will be held at Chateau La Mer

i know she is only 16 but when i was working at MAC i had so many teenagers wanting to buy makeup kits.

there is also the typical perfume, gift card, heart locket or bracelet.

PINK by Victoria Secret also has some great ideas!!!

I know my parents gave my friends $50 when I was going to sweet 16 but that was 9 years ago. Even though it was a long time ago I still think that dollar amount is a reasonable amount to give to someone for a sweet 16.

I'd say $50 should be fine, especially if FH hasnt seen her in 10 years!

I remember when sweet 16's were in a backyard or a VFW... lol.... now I have been going to sweet 16's that remind me of weddings, lol! Wish I could have had that!
Anyway, iif you want to do a cash gift I would say anywhere from $50-$75 is nice...

Im not sure if the same rule applies....but Id still feel like we need to pay for our plate. Id prob give $100 cash or a 50 -75$ gift card plus some sort of pretty keep sake from things remembered
