nwr: teacher insomnia

i woke up @ 4 this morning, my last day of freedom before school obligations officially begin (tomorrow & thursday followed by kids on tuesday).

have the teaching nightmares or pangs of anxiety been keeping my fellow teachers awake?

Haha, hence why I am up at 7 am. Yeah, I feel anxious, and the wierd work dreams don't help, but always a little excited. I love what I do, but the on the go all day mentally and physically is a killer never mind after lounging for so long. I just keep thinking about all the great things when stuff is stressful, like how lucky we are to do what I love and having time off to recharge our batteries and of course wedding planning ! Good luck this year it'll fly by as usual!

This is why I haven't been on much - I suffer from serious social anxiety - esp with new thing (I'm in the same school but different grade). All of my dreams lately have either been school related and photographer related - its out of control

I am SOO anxious about going back for some reason. I have no reason to be. Same grade level, same classroom- yet I am so anxious! I don't want to go back.

I know once the weather is not so beautiful that I won't mind being back. If it's not summer, why be home?

I am not a teacher but a social worker in a school and I went yesterday to set up my room. It felt weird being there and it set in that summer is over ! I am getting nervous, this is my second yr so still got some time before being tenured I also picked up a second job over the summer so I am a little worried about being able to manage both...

Im def not looking forward to those 3 observations ...ugh they are so stressful !!

Im starting a new teaching job...my very first year teaching and I thought I was the only one suffering from anxiety, I just try to talk myself out of it and calm down. I'm glad I'm not the only one, I was beginning to think I was going crazy.

We'll get through it together
