NWR: Teachers, Fun President's Day activities?

Hi Teachers,
I am looking for some fun things that I can do with a second grade class to celebrate President's Day. I might do a mini unit.

Any ideas?

I think we need a Teacher forum!

check out enchanted learning and abcteach, they are both great sites. I get lots of ideas and lessons from it.

I am a member to many of these sites, but my principal wants me to 'think out of the box'. So I was looking for something fun that hasn't been done a million times. Too much pressure!

why not do a trivia game on their level to see how much they know about the Presidents? This would be fun and motivating and im sure they would know so much more than before you did the lesson!

Can you do some kind of project where they each research a president? Or you learn about a new one each day? Or maybe learn about landmarks like Mount Rushmore and the White House?
