NWR: Teachers, I need help!!!

As the days of summer come to an end, I'm sure your with me on back to school chaos!!!!
I need any back to school bulletin board ideas. The thing is I have always done this great board with trees and t-shirts every year, and then when I went to school today to get started on things, the stupid other 3rd grade teacher next store put my board up in her room (sorry, it was rough year last year with her!)

So now I'm searching the internet for something cute and I thought you girls know everything about weddings, I'm sure someone could think of something!

Thanks girls!!!

Weens and the other teaching store always have cute bulletin boards up that you could look at for ideas. Worth a try!

what grade? is it third grade? i like this one set i always see that is about getting on the right track.. u have a huge race track and each student is a car.. there is a set out there with trophy add ons and the track already made.. then u can use the letter R.A.C.E as an whatchacallit ....

r-respect (or responsibility)
a-accountablity (or attendance)
c-character (or character)
e-education.. (or equality..)

and build that into your motto/theme for the year.. title is RACING TOWARDS SUCCESS!

good luck..

I used to put up a football field with Goals for the year. All you need is to be able to make a football (easy) and make goal posts. You can add things that you do during the year on the 10 yard lines- 10 months 10 10 yard lines. You could put all the kids names on the lines, or on helmets.
Everyone will know that the other girl stole your bulletin board. It's nice to change what you do once in a while anyway.
Good luck

I usually use a hockey theme for the goals. The kids write three goals they have for the year, then they pick one and put it on a constuction paper puck (with chalk, since the puck is black). I make a hockey goal with yarn and construction paper, then put up some hockey sticks and a mask. The kids each put up one goal and I title it 'We've Set Our Goals for ____ Grade!' I always get complimented on it. It is adorable! Great for when the parents come to Open House, too
