the book was awesome - FH is a history buff and loves this stuff, we are totally going to see the movie (even though I don't see Tom Hanks as the main character)

hope the movie does it justice~

I read DaVinci Code and Angels & Demons, back to back (pausing only to purchase Angels and Demons!) in a weekend!!! I then read both of Dan Brown's other books....he's a great author. I am so excited about the movie coming out!!! The trailers look great, and even though I too questioned Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon, I think he will do a great job with the character....the hair definately works for the part! I am also really excited about them casting Audrey Tatou as Sophie....she is such a great actress, and I definately give Ron HOward props for going with a true French actress for the french part! Plus I just love Paul Bettany and Sir Ian McKellan!!! I cannot wait!!!!!!!!

Its an awesome book! I read it a few years ago followed by Angels and Demons which is a sequel to the book...Angels and Demons no where near compares to the Da Vinci Code...makes you question everything as well...but tis an awesome read!

Re: NWR: The DaVinci Code

My friend tried to convince me to read the book for months and I kept telling him I wasn't interested in a book about religion. He kept on me to borrow his book.

Finally when someone else took his book and read it, I gave it a chance. I'm glad I did! I'm also glad I read it before I knew that the movie was coming out. I don't like associating actors with the people in the book.

We're going to go see it too, although not opening weekend. If we even have time, that is, before the wedding.
