NWR: the FH calls me the xmas nazi

So he has nicknamed me the xmas nazi cuz im insane about our tree n decor. i mean, to the point that i will not allow an orniment on the tree if it isnt the correct shade of blue or silver ( i know, im sick )

back to the story at hand, he comes in the bedroom and he says 'so next year we should put some blue lights on the tree too!' I looked up at him and didnt say anything. he then says ' nevermind, i wouldnt want to disturb the harmonic balance of the xmas tree'



hes too funny.....but no blue lights

that is funny! I tried having a color themed tree too but FH reminded me that I am the jewish one in the relationship and I lost that battle

don't feel alone, i'm particular like this too. Probably no one would notice but I soooo care..lol

we have 3 shades of blue on the tree, a shiny dark blue, a matte med blue and a light colored blue and then 3 shades of silver, shiny silver, matte silver and glitter silver....they have to match or its a no go.....im redic!!

i think it is funny & I can relate I only do burgundy & gold decor on my tree with a burgundy tree skirt fh bought a few ornanments that do not go with the tree they are not allowed on it- i think in a few years I will more laid back & put more colors in it

blue & silver sounds pretty cool

That's funny! Last year I went to my friends parents house for dinner and their tree was a turqoise, white. silver theme I think it was. It was soooo pretty. But she also wrapped all of the gifts in those colors too. Like if someone sent any to the house she would re-wrap them to match!
