NWR: the newest addition to our family

My MOH driving home late Wed. night swerved to miss what she thought was a foam cup in the MIDDLE of the road. When it didn't blow away she realized it wasn't a cup but a little kitten. She pulled over and it ran right over to her. There was no one around, no houses and no signs of other kittens nearby.

She obviously wasn't going to leave it there so she took it home and called me. He was covered in what looked like black grease from machinery and his tail was completely grass stained. We had the little guy checked out, all is well, except he is completely DEAF Vet said there is a genetic link in some white cats that causes them to be that way.

It would really make me mad to think someone ditched this poor little one He will have a good home now with us.....just didn't tell FH yet

he is sooo cute!!! many white cats w/ blue eyes are deaf, but that will never prevent him from being an amazaing pet. congrats!!!!

awww, that is a great story, i have tears in my eyes, i am so glad you are able to give him a good home!
we have had riley, our cat for 2 1/2 years now, we adopted him from a shelter, poor kitties that nobody wants, he 2 was found by the side of road and taken to the shelter to be adopted by me, but i did call FH to ask it was ok from the shelter as i was paying for him
