Macaroni grill has good food too, and if i remember correctly the prices were good
Theres also PF changs if you like chinese food
Personally I would go with Don Juans bc its good and you said you dont want anything pricey, not sure what price limit you want to stay in bc i can also go to just about any of those places and stillnot spend that much.
Fh and i went to houstons for lunch columbus day, and the bill wasnt bad at all. We had the spinach dip that we shared for an app which is plenty for 2 ppl, then i had chicken caesar salad which isnt pricey and his food wasnt pricey either...our total bill was very good
when FH and I go out, i know we can keep the cost down. i just don't want to chringe if someone orders the strip steak or lobster....lol.
well are you going for dinner, sorry i thought you said lunch for some reason...i was gonna say that fh and i werent trying tokeep costs down but it was only lunch so i didnt want a real heavy meal and i usually get a chicken salad. But even without us trying to keep costs down it was a decent price
Wait are you paying for everyone? bc if they order lobster(which they dont have at houstons) or steak then its on them and they have to pay it not you.
But i do have to say that don juans has a much larger selection and it will be easier for you
late lunch / early dinner and we're paying for everyone....the lobster/steak was just an example.
OH you're paying for everyone then that is different. Hmmm too bad theres no family style restaurants around there, at least none that i know of.
go to don juans definitely then.

Why not call some of those places to see if they have a special menu for small parties? You might be able to get a few entrees and apps together for a set price.

I didn't think Don Juans was much cheaper than cheesecake or PF. . . .never been to Baci, but what about Laguna Grill?

it depends...the good thing is most ppl who go to mexican restaurants get burritos, tacos and those type of things so it can come out to less. But like you said its not much of a difference so depends. I usually get the seafood platters at don juans and those are like 25 and up so again depends on what they get.
Oh they have laguna grill around there, didnt know...i went to one but further out, and its DELICIOUS
