for the first time in about 10 years that I have had my one dog Casper.. he let me brush him and didnt even growl!!!!!!!!!!!!!
to brush him is such a process.. Muzzle, Leash hold collar so he cant turn and try to brush all the clumps as fast as possible before he starts snapping.
I dont know what it is.. but he just hates it! I cant even pull a loose and unattched clump of hair from his body without him growling. and hes american eskimo so he has A LOT of hair. but today.. not a peep.. i looked up to see if pigs were flying!
my other dog is such a pleasure she just sits there and could care less

Thats funny. My dogs are the complete opposite-they are in doggy heaven when I brush them, they love it so much!

that would be great (my other dog is like that) esp since Casper has SOOOO Much hair it literally falls out in clumps. we used to take him to the groomers but we have to traquilize him and he is still bad for them. We just stopped because we would shave him and he would still shead and it would be worse because the hair is short and like little needles.. the hair would stick into everything.

My dog loves to be brushed...he doesnt shed alot but he loves to be groomed...well by me. He doesnt like the groomer too much.
But my family dog- he HATES it. You can't even touch his paws he growls at you. Well actually I can touch his paws but anyone else- he growls!! I think I am his favorite.
but when we bring him to the groomer he is muzzled the whole time.

like whats there problem..
and im sick because i sit there and try to rationalize with the dog.. im talking to him like.. 'it doesnt hurt' and etc.. then i realize im talking to a dog
