NWR: Thunder and Lightning!!

Is it me or does it seem mega loud this year. I was in pathmark last week. The lightning hit the power pole and the lights in the store went out.
Everyone started screaming. It sounded as if the ground opened up.

i can usually sleep through natural disasters, but i dont know why this woke me up.. it mustve been really loud. lol.

It was very loud....my little sister is sleeping in my room being that her room is getting redone
(she is 9 years old) there was a really big boom and I'm laying right next to her...she never even looked to see if I was there and all of a sudden the covers go flying up and she starts running for the door I was hysterical...I said Gracie I'm already laying next to you and she starts crying and says, ' I thought I was in her by myself' It was so cute and then she proceeds to put the covers over her eyes so she couldn't see the flashes, she was peeking though and when it flashed she would say Did you see that? It was so adorable, so innocent! Just thought I'd share my thunder storn story

But yes it's so loud it's like florida thunderstorms!!!

jesus I got NO sleep last night with it!!!!! Drinking last night, plus NO sleep from it = a very cranky donna!!
