NWR::: ticks on dogs!!!!help

Im wondering if ticks are out like crazy right now...I put frontline on my dog every month.dog..but i take my everywhere, I dont let him run around in high grass or anything, but the other day we were playing ball at a park and I took 2 ticks off him and today he was at a softball game for a few hours and I pulled a tick off him... IM GETTING SO MAD.... is anyone else having the same issue right now? I'm feeling like ticks are all over the place right now..

Is there anything else better then frontline I should be using???

Buddy uses Revolution and it also prevents heart worm. He hasnt had a tick and he goes running through the woods in PA. Its a little more expensive than front line but it works for Buddy.
