I always want to buy a pair but any pair I have seen has that elastic on the back and I know that will tear through the back of my foot.

i can't wear the flats b/c they hurt too much, but I have a pair of dressy flip flops and thy run true to size

Yes but they kill your feet at first, once you break them in they are like slippers though!!!

I have a pair and think they are actually pretty comfy! The inside sole thing starting coming out of the shoe pretty soon after I got them but my shoemaker fixed it and hasn't been a problem since!

I have a few pairs of flats with the elastic on the back so I don't mind it, but I'd go into the store to try them on before ordering online!
