Sure because the Supreme Court has issued a $1million/day fine and TWU local 100 only has $3million in assets = Three Days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) Figures he's now calling for an end on Thursday.

The $3 mil is true but they own a building that is worth $60 mil and they were looking to sell it anyway. (They being the TWU).

That's interesting. Never heard the lawyer representing the local union mention that when disclosing the financials. But that $60m is not realized until it's sold anyway. I'll just be happy when this strike is over.

I heard it on a special report on channel 7 earlier this morning. The TWU is being fined $1m a day for the strike, so I think they just wanted to make the point of how important they are and then they'll go back to the negotiating table.
