Plasma or LED? We're so confused right now. Going back and forth on this one.

Re: NWR: TV
LOL - was just at Best Buy last week discussing TVs with the salesperson... LED is the newest TV technology (and therefore more expensive), I know the picture quality is amazing, they are super thin and they use A LOT less electricity than plasma or LCD tvs. I would love to get one, but being that my dear FH wants a 55inch - that ain't gonna happen because of $ lol. Instead, we are going to end up with an LCD....personally, I have always have LCDs over plasmas - but that is a personal preference for me.

Re: NWR: TV
LCD...my friends had a plasma a few years back ad they had it only 6 months when the monitor just stopped working one day. LCD lasts longer, its worth the price.

Re: NWR: TV
I've heard a lot of plasma horror stories- we have 2 LCD tvs and no complaints yet.

Re: NWR: TV
Thanks girls!!! The guys at Best Buy were actually recommending the plasma, even though it's cheaper, and then my stepdad's friend who's a tv expert apparently said plasma too. But, for some reason I just am not comfortable with getting one. Thanks for all the input!!

Re: NWR: TV
we just replaced our lcd with a led and love it. Plasmas older but if more affordable to get in a room where theres not a lot of reflections-like a darker room
