NWR USS Arizona
My mom just called me and told me that my grandfather received a package from his niece who went to Hawaii the begining of this month. In the package was a flag from the USS Arizona!!!! Being my grandfather was in WWII it was very touching. He cried as he read her letter ( And he never cries). She also sent him pics of it. She also got one for her father. It was flown on Dec 7th the day of the memorial ceremony honoring all the men who died.
Just though I would share with all of you. It was such a nice thing of her to do.
