NWR - VENT
So I have been trying to sell my car for a while now...with the economy and everything else it just doesn't seem to be something that is going to happen.
HOWEVER...what makes it even WORSE is that apparently there is NOBODY in the entire world that understands the proper way to negotiate.
First off, I always get calls asking me all the details about the car. The mileage, the color, how much am I selling it for...well, obviously you got my number from somewhere, and I'm guessing its from the various ads that I have posted which, including my phone number contain THE MILEAGE, THE COLOR, THE PRICE and MUCH MORE! Why are you calling if you can't even read?!
THEN...they ask 'Well how low are you willing to go on the price?'...THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS!!! I tell you the price, you make an offer, I make a counter offer...I don't tell you my bottom line up front!!! THEN when I tell them to make me an offer, its usually $1500-$2000 less than my asking price!! Are you for real??? When I tell them that's not an acceptable option and give them a counter offer for like $200 less than the asking price...THEY HANG UP.
