NWR-VENT...So stressed/upset

Hi ladies, as some of you know I've been unsuccessfully looking for a teaching job all summer.

I had 2 interviews on Tuesday. However, the first one I walk in & sit down & the principal tells me, I'm sorry but I received word this morning that I will have to hire from the region excess teacher pool. So she met w/ me for 10 minutes but basically it was a wash.

The 2nd one I felt went very well yet after it was over he tells me the situation is he has 2 teachers already IN the position but it is their choice if they want to go back to school for their Early Childhood Cert (they currently hold 1-6). If they DON'T want to do it then a position would be available.

I get home & no more calls except 6 week maternity in CATHOLIC school w/ no benefits.

I'm beyond stressed. Then I wake up yesterday & have a MONSTROUS, not just big, but MONSTROUS cold sore on my lip which isn't only ugly but is making me nauseous and giving me a headache.

At this point even if I had an interview, I don't feel like leaving the house.

OK, enough whining, just feeling overwhelmed, stressed & sad.

Hang in there. Don't give up.

I feel for you Cindy...I really do. I am stressed, depressed and hopless. I feel like nothing is going to work out

Something might come up with those NYC jobs though....maybe someone will get another job and then they will call you back

They said they don't have domestic partner clause, we'll have to wait until we are married.

NYC schools were calling me last year into October... dont give up hope!!

Aww Cindy I'm so sorry that you feel so down-in-the-dumps!!!! you'll never know...maybe those teachers will decide not to come back last minute. The city schools start next week right...you still have time!

Oh no! You would think they would!?

Many to you! I can understand the cold sore situation. I get them very bad and am even scared to say the word because I will get one! I usually take L-Lysene to prevent it and when I feel one coming on, I take Valtrex. I've gotten them so bad that I refuse to leave the house!

I'll keep my fingers crossed that something will come along soon!

Cindy I am so sorry your going through this I hope something comes your way I know what its like to be without a job and stressef out here are some hugs
