Hi ladies. I have a not-wedding-related question. I have very sesitive skin. Does anyone recommend and day-of make up? I get eczema on my face (generally on the eyelids and around my eyes) and I am very worried and stressed about a flareup on the wedding day. Does anyone else have eczema or extremely dry and or sensitive skin?? Any tips?? TIA!!!!!!!!!

Re: NWR-Very sensitive skin
Have you tried mineral makeup? Its supposed to be good for your skin. Bare Minerals, physician's formula, neutrogena, almay...they are all supposed to be hypo-allergenic.

I live for Mineral Makeup! Esp from Bare Essentials. I have eczema too, so this is the only product that keeps it a bay. Theres a boutique in Roosevelt Field that you could check out.

I have major rosacea and horrible skin. I used Bare Minerals the day of the wedding. It is natural looking and I had absolutely no reaction!

Re: NWR-Very sensitive skin
btw - in case u were wondering, Bare Escentuals and Bare Minerals is the same thing (B.E. is just the company, B.M. is the actual product)...Cassandra (RockysGirl) just used it for her wedding day...here's a pic - hope she doesn't mind lol. it just has such a gorgous finish....really natural but glamorous all at the same time..just make sure u have an artist that USES b.e.! it can be a disaster if they don't!
I don't know about make-up but I do use Aveeno lotion and baby wash for my face. I feel it helps me.

I have roseaca, and I love MAC. It's the only makeup that doesn't make my skin break out! I might have to try bare essentials now though...
