OK, so we had a bbq this weekend and the big plastic cups were outside. After, We brought them in house to use. No biggy.
Well, I had a drink out of one last night- no problem. Then I filled cup again, took a drink and MY LIP BLEW UP!
I have no clue what from. Its only on one side on the top, inner pert of my lip (where your mouth hits the cup)
It was really swollen last night and went down a lot this am, but his still swollen. So i am wondering if there was a bug on the cup I didnt see and it bit me or if there was some sorta parasite from being outside EEEWWWW!!!!
Just had to share my weird story. Im pretty sure no one has ever had this happen to them- its a long shot.
If it doesnt go away by today, Im going to the Dr. tomorrow.
Too bad it didnt happen on both sides so i could have Anjolina Jolie lips for a day...lol

Re: NWR- Very Very Strange
try taking a little Benedryl. my ex used to get swollen lips for no reason... it would just blow up. Like either the side of the top and bottom lip, just the top lip, just the bottom lip... we had no idea what caused it, but he would take benedryl and ice it and it would only last about 24 hours!

Yeh maybe the cup doesnt agree with you somehow. try putting some ice on it and take advil. if that doesnt help, make a trip to the doctor.
feel better.

Wow sorry to hear that. Definitely take some Benadryl it was probably and allergic reaction to something outside. Were you drinking from those cups during the bbq?

I hope you feel better! That happens to me sometimes too. Is your lip tingly at all? I was told it's an alergic reaction. It might not have anything to do with the cup, but benedryl and ice might make it totally better.

II tried ice. Its not to bad now, but still there. IWhat made me think it was the cup was that it happened AS SOON as I took a sip. Yeah- its tingly- almost feels like a burn! I thought it was hives b/c i get them sometimes when im tired (IDK- im weird...lol)
