steve and i just came home from our first open house we ever went to in levittown. i loved the house, plus it's right around the corner from his brother and sil and i LOVE them!! but steve says it's the first house we've looked at so i shouldn't get too excited. but now we are going to start going to open houses over the weekends...i'm so excited, i want a house sooooo bad!!

Shop around...! I go to open houses on the weekend with FH for fun...
We are not buying until a couple years from now., but its good to go to open houses to get a feel of whats out there.

well we are not in a hurry to buy soon, but i would really like to!! we live now in the upstairs apt of his parents house...and its nice but it's so smaaaaaaaaaall. i can't wait to have our own house!

i am in bethpage but i can see levittown from my house. the house u looked at isnt too far from me! im right off hicksville rd there is actually a house for sale on my block. i think its in the 450 range

We went to probably 100 open houses and then on top of that made about another 50 appointments to see houses before we found ours!

Awesome, Jeannette...Congrats!!!! If you're anything like me....I wanted every house we looked at. Steven was like 'chill'...and he was right, cause I LOVE my house and I'm glad we held out for the right one.

If you all thought houses were expensive in LI , VA is so much worse.
Its unbelieveable. Everything is the SAME , cookie cutter houses. Townhomes are like 500,000 its awful. I can't wait to move home

i wonder why it's so expensive over there? I thought NY and Cali were the most expensive.
