NWR: We were approved!!!!!!

for our home loan of course! Yay... finally will have a commitment letter in our hands today... I feel like such a weight has been lifted!!!

We have a ton of things to celebrate this weekend... DH's bday was yesterday and we are having our annual camping trip... I got a FT job... And we were approved for our loan Oh yeah, and my cat who was (still is) kinda sick seems to be getting better and is acting more like his normal self!

Things are looking up and I dont want to come back down on this rollercoaster

Haha... We just might have to come to your restaurant and celebrate!!!! I reminded Vin yesterday about going and he was ALLLL for it... I'll let you know about next weekend... We'll try to shoot for then

Congrats!!!!! Are you guys going for a co-op?? (can't remember if that was you or not). We got approved for our mortgage two weeks ago and that was the best feeling in the world!!! We have been waiting for someone to call us for an interview for a week now and I have been told it can take a month! The waiting game is the worst!

No, we're buying a condo so no interviews here... It seems like the loan is moving along quickly (aslo just found out that the appraisal was done yesterday but dont know of the outcome yet)... We're just going to get delayed by the MCC we're applying for Im sure... since we're like the guinea pigs and its so new that this is the first MCC our loan officer is doing... But she seems very intelligent and on her game so Im a bit more confident...

That's awesome! It took us MONTHS to get an approval.. You should make the Nov 30th deadline for sure then! We wanted to do an MCC too but someone told us that you have to live there for 10 years otherwise you have to pay the gov't back?? Someone else told us that was not true and now we don't know what to believe! Do you know whether or not that is the case?

don't give up hope. FH and I closed on our house on Tuesday. We started looking on August 9, 2008!! Yup - that's right over a year. I feel like we saw every single home on the market!

I believe its 8 years otherwise you have to pay Recapture Tax... whatever that is...
