Re: NWR- Weight Watchers
It definitely works. My Mom and Sister did it prior to my sister's wedding and both lost a ton of weight. I personally needed a bit more structure...so I joined Jenny Craig. I love it

Definitely works. First time I ever did WW I lost abut 30 pounds. Try lots of different diets before that but none of them ever worked. I am back on WW now because I back on and off with it after the weight loss and never got down to my goal weight (which is what I want to be at for the wedding).
Good Luck!

I lost 46 pounds on WW in 2007.....January 20 was my 3 year anniversary at goal. Now I'm a leader, so I guess I'm a little biased

Re: NWR- Weight Watchers
WW definitely works and I feel that it is one of the best diets out there. I lost 35 pounds doing it on my own (about 7-8 years ago). I kept it off, but in the past year I've lost another 15 following the program.
My mom had joined and bought me all of the books so that I could follow it too (I was away at college). My first 30 pounds came off without even having to exercise (even though I used to exercise all the time when I was overweight).
It definitely worked better for me than any other diet, because its not a diet where you deprive yourself of anything or cut out anything. You just learn to have everything in moderation. I followed the old winning points system-but I've heard that the new program is just as good if not better.
Good luck with everything

I've been on it over 2 years and lost 60lbs. I'm a lifetime member now at goal.
I highly reccomend WW. There are no cons- its a great system for losing and maintaing your weight loss. You can still eat that food you want too

It totally works but it's really difficult to KEEP the weight off. When I started it, the weight melted off... gained it back when I stopped the program.

WOw!!!! I have another question, did all of you ladies lose the weight on WW alone or with exercise? I haven't been to the gym in FOREVER and I hate going!!! I plan on stepping it up a little and running at night but I was just wondering!

I lost my first 30 pounds without exercise. But I needed to start exercising to get the last 16 off, and I certainly need it to keep it off.

I joined and am starting over this week. I totally was not tracking my food intake so I have not lost a pound. Today is my 1st day and I'm doing well so far..

The first time I did not exercise at all. This time I'm actually exercising and the weight is coming off quicker but either way Weight Watchers has been successful for me with or without.
Good Luck!
