soak it in warm/hot soapy for a while. You might be able to relieve some of the pressure that way. Don't pick at it bc you will make it worse........ You may end up needing a doc, though. But try the soapy water....

You need to go to a podiatrist to get rid of it anything you do will relieve the pain but it will still grow back, i've had 3 so I know! it's better to go now then wait until it gets worse. The doctor can cut it for you or he can cut it and then kill the root so it wont grow back.

soak it and try to cut away the nail that may be poking the skin. If it doesnt get better in a day or so - def go to the pod. I can recommend a really great one in Woodbury if needed.
