FH and I are going to a halloween party, dont want to go out and spend a lot of money on costumes though...thought i could get ideas from you guys!

we dressed up as nerds a couple of years and it was hilarious....we both wore broken glasses and fake teeth, he wore khakis pulled way up w/suspenders (bad camel toe), ugly shirt, brown socks, really old worn shoes....i wore a plaid mini skirt w/a button down buttoned all the way up, knee socks, bad shoes, pigtails...it was really funny and his family didn't even recognize us...
another year we were 'gangsters'...that was funny to...
we are trying to think of something for this year...i hate those costumes in a bag though....so unoriginal...

We are going as inflatable sumo wrestlers!! The costume actually blows up huge and we got them at BJs for $13!!

someone with no money... oh wait that is what I dress as everyday... sorry to be gloomy I am just bumming....
Don't know what i will be this year if anything but i will share last years costume... FH had bell's palsy (it is a spontaneous temp. parlaysis of one side of your face, quite disfiguring and very depressing) So anyway he was really depressed and had to wear an eye patch bc he lost his blink reflex and couldn't protect or water his eye... he was also derpressed bc he had to take steriod pill and they altered his mood... So anyway we all dressed as pirates.. he was the pirate and MOH and I were his sexy pirate wenches... So funny... He made the best pirate faces because of his unfortunat illnesses and he wasn't embarressed about the patch. He was a really good sport about the wig and the womens blouse we put him in... I LOVE HIM...
i wanted to do chucky and the bride of chucky this year (even though it's a bit outdated) but fh says no...
i don't know if we're dressing up this year. he's so tall he never fits right in costumes so I kinda have to go along with whatever he's going to be!

This year FH and I are wearing 'this is my halloween costume' t-shirts. We couldnt afford more than the $5! I cant wait til next year - we are going to be Homer and Marge!!!!

heather, a girl i know was marge last year!! she made the costume herself it was THE COOLEST THING!!!!
not a clue what i'm going to be. Halloween is homecoming weekend this year though, and it's actaully real homecoming since i'm actually alumni, so it should be interesting...
I really do need to come up with something. Hmm. Perhaps a trip to spencers is in order...

Dunno, we don't usually dress up. I would love to be Shrek and Fiona, though. My friend, her BF and his friends dressed up as the Wizard of Oz characters one year. They looked incredible.

I LOVE getting dressed up for Halloween. Michael & I usually throw a party, but this year everyone has other things to do, so we are hoping to go out with some friends. I'm thinking we'll be Batman & Cat Woman, or we may dress up as hippies. I think that would be pretty fun!

oooh how about a bride zilla
get a gown from a thrift store, cut a hole in the back and make a lizard tail you can attach and poke throught the hole
I saw this on Sabrina the Teenage Witch the other day...she was going wedding crazy and literally turned into a bride-zilla!!!!

I'm going to be a fairy. FH is thinking about being Jeff Probst from Survivor. I told him that he should be Jeff jokingly and he loved the idea.
